The project Façade, flat roof and windows completely renewed
In Ghent we renovated the entire building envelope with one goal: less heat loss, more comfort and a better EPC score. We started with the flat roof and the windows, and finished with a clean rendered façade. The result: a home with a modern look, high-quality materials and a clear step forward in energy performance.
The project was carried out with one fixed point of contact, from intake to handover. Thanks to three specialised crews — roof, windows and façade — the scheduling ran efficiently and in a controlled way.

What we carried out
Façade insulation with render (premium finish)
- 14 cm of façade insulation with λ = 0.032 for strong thermal performance
- Render finish: Caparol Thermosan K15
- White render for a timeless, clean façade
- Black L-profile at the roof edge for a modern line
Impact-resistant plinth
- Plinth insulation in XPS, 12 cm
- Plinth finish: Decostone durable mineral quartz resin, anthracite
Practical and aesthetic: a robust base with a clear visual transition.
Windows and sills: aluminium, anthracite, energy-efficient
- Anthracite aluminium windows for more energy savings
- Aluminium sills: old sills removed and replaced
- Extra XPS insulation under the sills against heat loss at critical connections
- A better EPC score thanks to high-efficiency glazing
Flat roof: insulation and waterproofing
- 14 cm of PIR roof insulation
- Two layers of roofing with all the necessary connections
- A technically correct flat roof build-up

Rainwater drainage renewed
- Gutters and downpipes replaced for a neat finish and good drainage
