What is window ventilation? A separate choice in your ventilation plan.

Window ventilation is not a C+ or D+ unit. It is a separate way of letting in fresh air at window level — as a stand-alone measure per room or as part of a broader ventilation strategy.

Profile, glazing, acoustic requirement, desired airflow, exposure of the façade and airtightness determine the right vent.

  • Chosen together with the window
  • Matched to noise and façade
  • Stand-alone or with C+ / D+

Does window ventilation fit your ventilation plan?

C+ and D+ are central systems; window ventilation is a separate choice. We look together at what your home needs.

Questions about window ventilation What our clients ask us.

Does window ventilation replace a C+ or D+ system?

No. A window vent does not automatically replace the supply or extract of a designed central C+ or D+ system.

Can a vent go in my existing window?

The vent is best chosen and fitted before the window is manufactured; with new windows we plan it in straight away.

Which vent should I choose?

Profile, glazing, acoustic requirement, desired airflow and exposure of the façade determine the right vent.

Will I hear more street noise with a vent?

The acoustic requirement is one of the criteria in choosing the vent.
