Flanders reformed the renovation grants. What you still receive depends on your income category.
- 01Categories 3 and 4
Full support remains: grants for roof, walls, windows, floors and building services — up to 35% or 50% of the invoice.
- 02Categories 1 and 2
No more grant for insulation and windows; only for heat pumps, with lower amounts.
- 03Non-residential
Since 1 March 2026, offices, shops and warehouses are no longer entitled to the grant.
- 04EPC label grant
New pathways no longer start; with a starting EPC from before 2026 you have five years.

Do I need to be a KBC customer for the renovation loan?
No. As an official KBC credit partner, we arrange the loan even if you are not a KBC customer.
Can I still get a grant for insulation?
Since 2026 only in income categories 3 and 4 — up to 35% or 50% of the invoice. For categories 1 and 2, only support for heat pumps remains.
Which documents do I need?
For every application: final invoices (no more than two years old) and the mandatory contractor certificates. We take care of them.
What does the EPC certificate cost?
