Façades / Render (crepi)
A flat, coherent surface — as a stand-alone skin or as a connecting layer between wood, stone and aluminium. On an insulated façade it is the finish of a complete ETICS system.

Crepi is a façade render with a grainy texture. We work with silicone render: a ready-made premium system for a flat, modern façade.
It is elastic, water-repellent and vapour-open — the wall stays dry and can breathe.
Modern render gives architecture a flat, coherent surface — as a stand-alone skin or as a connecting layer for wood, stone and aluminium.
Elastic, water-repellent and vapour-open render finish for a modern, durable façade.
The finest structure: it looks almost like paint with a slightly rough feel. This result needs more careful preparation, an extra levelling layer and therefore a higher project cost.
The standard grain for a balanced, clearly legible façade structure. A trusted choice that balances texture and ease of maintenance.
A coarser grain for a more pronounced, robust relief. Interesting when the façade may have a stronger tactile presence.
On an insulated façade, render is the outer layer of one system from one manufacturer — so the warranty covers the whole.
Existing wall, checked for flatness and moisture
Full-surface bonding, plus anchors where needed
EPS, graphite EPS or mineral wool — thickness according to your energy goal
Glass fibre mesh in a reinforcement layer against cracking
Silicone render in the chosen grain and colour
What we check and carry out before the last layer goes on:
Checking the substrate and moisture before work starts.
Continuous details around windows and doors, so no thermal bridge is created.
A plinth that resists moisture and dirt: waterproof layer, XPS or EPS HD and reinforcement.
Dark colours only with a system that can handle high surface temperatures, such as Caparol Carbon Dark or Knauf Color-X.
From a terraced house in Mechelen to 540 m² of brick slips and white render in Hasselt.

from Bruges to Namur
Render lets wood, stone, aluminium or ceramics speak. In Neerpelt we combined render with wood and brick slips, in Hasselt 540 m² of brick slips with white render on 12 cm of insulation. Spray cork and render also go together on one façade.

Since 2026, wall insulation in Flanders only qualifies for Mijn VerbouwPremie in income categories 3 and 4. We check your situation, help with the application and, if you wish, arrange a renovation loan through KBC.
A 1.5 mm grain is the standard: a balanced texture that balances texture and ease of maintenance. 1.0 mm looks almost smooth but needs an extra levelling layer; 2.0 mm gives a coarser, more robust relief.
Yes, render can be a stand-alone finish. We always check the substrate and moisture first. If you are tackling the façade anyway, render is usually combined with insulation in an ETICS system.
Yes, with a system that can handle high surface temperatures, such as Caparol Carbon Dark or Knauf Color-X with Total Solar Reflection.
