Roofs / Clay roof tiles
Renovating a pitched roof is more than laying new tiles. We renew the whole roof — structure, insulation, waterproofing and finish — so it lasts for decades again.

During the site visit we inspect the roof structure, the underlay, the insulation, the rainwater drainage and the connections. Only then do we choose the build-up.
Gutters, roof windows and the connections to the chimney and façade are finished in the same job.

A good roof keeps the rain out and the heat in, and shapes how your home looks. Pick a model and see the tile and the roof — ten models from the Koramic and Wienerberger range.

Pantile with a historic silhouette and contemporary quality. In natural red, rustic and weathered Vieilli.
Flat extruded clay tile with a continuous bonding rib: an ultra-fine, contemporary look on roof and façade alike.

Light tile with a gentle wave, deep interlocks and adjustable batten gauge — versatile, with a timeless wave line.
A fully renovated pitched roof consists of four layers, in this order:
Roof tiles or slates
Water and wind barrier, vapour-open — with counter battens and tile battens
PIR, glass wool or stone wool — according to height and substrate
On the inside, limits moisture penetration from inside
Some guide values from the manufacturer:
Stormpan 44: from 22° with a standard underlay, from 15° with Fleece Premium.
Standard, Oude Pottelbergse 451, Tegelpan Elfino and Jura Nova: from 15° with Fleece Premium.
Tradiva: from 10° with Fleece Plus (batten gauge 340 mm).
The final choice follows the manufacturer's technical documentation and the condition of your roof.

Since 2026, roof insulation in Flanders only qualifies for Mijn VerbouwPremie in income categories 3 and 4. We check your situation, help with the application and, if you wish, arrange a renovation loan through KBC.
That depends on the surface area and the build-up. In Andenne we renewed a 230 m² natural slate roof with 12 cm of PIR insulation and new VELUX roof windows in two weeks.
For most Koramic models 15° with Fleece Premium as underlay. The Tradiva can go from 10° with Fleece Plus. With a standard underlay, the Stormpan 44 starts at 22°.
PIR/PUR insulates best at a small thickness (λ 0.022–0.025), glass wool is good for acoustics between the rafters (λ 0.030–0.040) and stone wool is more fire-resistant (λ 0.032–0.040). With little height, we combine PIR with glass wool.
In Flanders, since 2026 roof insulation only qualifies for the Mijn VerbouwPremie grant in income categories 3 and 4. We review your situation and help with the application.
